Yue – Freelectronicmusic

Ladies and gentlemen, let me introduce you… from Italy, after 10 hours by an old car from the early 90’s, and a little van full of electronic stuff,

the Yue!

But before them, let me show you a funny start…

Yea guys, we needed 2 plug adaptors to switch from the big-3poles-italian-plug to the normal-german-life2poles-plug, we arrived with all the stuff ready to do our live performance: 2 computers, 1 laptop, 1 lcd screen, 1 keyboard, 1 synth, 3 guitars, 2 pods, but not the damned plug adaptors!!

Arggh!

Fortunately, they provided us 3 adaptors, and we were ready to proceed making the sound-check. Pew!

Sounds were really good there on the balcony. I was sure that night could be a great experience for us: playing at the Linux Audio Conference, have the possibility to give an expression to our open-source-works sharing ideas  with other artists from other countries! Wow! And I was a bit curious about how could be the "plug-and-chill"…

 "plug-and-chill" was the name of the event that tooks place on the balcony after every single artist’s live performance, you could plug your laptop , your keyboard, your guitar, and play, play all together in a big-open-source-jam-session!

This was a little take of our live performance. You can’t see me clearly cause I wasn’t under the lights 🙂

There was also a guy that was recording the entire set with his camera. He told us there’ll be the entire recording available on the web so, if you’re intrested, keep watching the LAC’s website!

During that big jam session, we played also "Before And After" and "Out Of Sight", the result was simply great (thanks also to the other artists), you could really feel people’s partecipation!

And so I asked again for the VGA cable 🙂  …and started playing again!
